A charming, award-winning Bed and Breakfast set in the picturesque village of Hurstpierpoint, in the heart of Sussex. Behind the obvious beauty of its location is, surprisingly, its accessibility. Located just 8 miles north of Brighton, 25 minutes south of Gatwick Airport and 1 hour 15 minutes south of London.
Built in 1926, Wickham Place is a beautiful country house set in one of the prettiest and most unspoilt villages in Sussex. Enjoyed by officers of the Canadian Army during the 2nd World War, Wickham Place now provides luxury, bed and breakfast accommodation.
Tradition blends with modern day comforts to provide a family atmosphere where visitors feel at home. Alongside period features; including original leaded-light windows, an oak staircase, operational servant bells in some rooms, and a picturesque walled garden, are four well-appointed guest rooms, fully-equipped with colour televisions, bathrobes and tea and coffee making facilities.
Old-world hospitality and a traditional welcome, that promises you a relaxing and memorable stay, has contributed to our success and excellent reputation, enticing our guests back time and time again.
We look forward to welcoming you in to our home at Wickham Place.
